K/L K L Frame square butt grips Handmade Hand Gun by Handicraftgrips
Installed the grip today.
Looks very beautifull.
These grips are nearly a perfect fit and are absolutely beautiful. The wood is attractively figured and smells wonderful, too. I ordered these on 01/02/2019 and received them on 01/29/2019, well before the promised date of 02/14/2019.
These grips bring out the beauty of the finish on this governor better than the rubber ones it came with did in my opinion. They have a little bit more girth around them than the rubber ones did too, which gives me a better grip, and consequently more control.Installation was as easy as getting it a [...]
Really really nice, exceeded expectations and don’t often say that. larger than factory rubber, great fit in right hand. Love them already. Outstanding
Second set of these Both for my k frame smith and Wesson model 10-6 and a 10-5 square butt fit perfect and look great
Fit just right. Color is not the same as picture (better). Love the look.
Perfect fit and finish. Much better than the original grips!
They look beautiful. They almost fit perfectly but were a little tight in some areas, so I used some sandpaper on some of the rounded wood, and the grips fit perfectly now.
I purchased these as a replacement for the large factory wooden grips that came with my model 15. These grips are about 30% smaller in diameter, making them much more comfortable in my hand. And, they look beautiful. They almost fit perfectly but were a little tight in some areas, so I used some [...]
Great grip. I had a little hesitation buying but am not disappointed. Looks just like the picture and is very nice in person. They feel very nice but are also very gripy so it doesn't sip too much in your hand, felt great to shoot with even with some hotter +P loads.
the grips are absolutely beautiful, they look better than the picture and they fit beautifully. thank you
Adam F. | Ok but lacking... | I hate to nit-pick but at this price point I feel these grips just don't cut it. Wood is super dry, feels like the grips are very old....laquer not applied evenly....some rough spots. They fit pretty well, but could be better. I normally order Altamont grips and would have this time but they are far behind on orders. So I took a chance on these. They are not bad but really should be better for the price. I would lump these in with the $30-50 grips you see.
Adam V. | 357 (square frame) but it didn't seem to fit like the original | It physically fit on my 1968 Model D-3 S&W .357 (square frame) but it didn't seem to fit like the original. Is it functional... Sure. However, the top end didn't mesh well near the trigger guard and looked a bit off. I've since replaced with a rose wood Hogue grip. Just a little disappointed in quality of original replication attempt. You look at it right away and know that's not what the firearm came with, which obviously is not what I had in mind. Perhaps I received a 'lemon' - story of my life. :/
albert w loven | Nice grips | Nice grips. Lousy fit.
Alissa Dott | Nice grips | Nice grips, fit well, easy to install. No issues at this time. Only concern is durability, specifically the S&W logo as it appears to be glued in and may come loose through use.
Amazo | the grips fit great and look great on my Smith & Wesson model ... | Took around 3 to 4 weeks to get the grips but that's not a big deal, the grips fit great and look great on my Smith & Wesson model 686 stainless steal revolver. The only reason i didn't give a 5 star was that the emblem on the grip fell out first thing, a little model car glue and all looks to be good now.<br>I recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable pair grips for their gun.
Amazo | Five Stars | Great handle and fits perfect
Amazo | Great look and feel. | The fit on my model 15 is great. Made my gun look fantastic.
Amazo | Perfect fit | Was expecting low quality but was pleasantly surprised! Nice weight, well made, and fit my L frame perfectly.<br><br>If they advertised which wood they're using I would have given 5 stars.
Andrew | Poor fit and fill. | Would not buy again.
Ann | Awesome! | Made the guns look so much more expensive!
Anthony Gallo | Would buy again | Thank you
Anthony Lewis | Exceeded expectations. | Really really nice, exceeded expectations and don’t often say that. larger than factory rubber, great fit in right hand. Love them already. Outstanding | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71tBiYluQSL._SL1600_.jpg |
Apache Racing. | Great looking, But need modified to fit. | Like I said, The grips look great, The problem is with the holes for the roll pin. They are close but not quite in the right spot. I will have to redrill the grips to get them to fit right.<br><br>OK, I did have to work on the roll pin holes a little bit to get the grips to fit, They didnt need much and now they fit and look great.
April | Not as pictured. | Great quality, but the received the wrong style. The tag number shown in the picture and the type of grip shown in the picture was not what I received. It is the proper grip for my revolver, but not the one I purchased. Cant find a way to get ahold of the seller either.
August Day | Beautiful grips but I was not happy | They were undersized all the way around. Beautiful grips but I was not happy. Seller refunded all my money. Waste of time. If they don't fit, don't sell them!
BasinBictory | LOOKS good, FEELS bad. | Bought these grips to put on a M&P Hand Ejector (pre-Model 10) that dates from 1940. The original grips have long since been lost and the previous owner put some aftermarket Hogue grips on it. They're functional but hideous for such a classic old revolver. So, I thought these grips would be just the ticket.<br><br>Put them on and they look great - the wood to metal fit is perfect and it really looks like the original configuration. However, the grip panels are too fat. They're too wide (I know because I own a number of other S&W revolvers of the era) and feel wider side to side than front to back! I don't want to take sandpaper to these grips, since they look nice and I can always use the hideous Hogue rubber grips if I want to shoot the gun, but it is unfortunate that grips that look nice, really aren't!
Becky Gutierrez | Five Stars | Made my man really happy thank you !
ben | Perfect matck and fitLooks perfect | Perfect peace<br>High wuality
Big John | Not the same thickness as original grips. | Pretty thin grips, look good, but not the same hand-full as original. Plus about a sixteenth of an inch short of covering the square butt of a K frame Smith and Wesson. Supposed to fit a K frame but they miss the mark. Should have been made the same thickness as original grips. I'm debating whether to keep them or not. My grips are pretty beat up and these do look good, but that's it. Just look good.
Big Truck | Pretty good. | The fit is pretty good on my 1979 Model 10-3. The grips look good, however, they are “target style“ meaning they are larger. The larger grip is not what I was looking for to replace on my revolver but the fit and finish is more than good enough to make mine usable.<br><br>Easily identifiable as not original grips but I prefer the factory-insprired checkered wood instead of Altamont or Pachmayr alternatives.
Bill Givens | Nice looking grips. | So i have Pachmayr grips on my S&W model 19 but thought they were a little blah. Purchased these and they look good/better and the fit is almost as good as the Pachmayr grips. For looks ill go with these. For comfort ill slip the Pach's on
BillyTheKid | Fit perfect. | I put white pistol grips on all my revolvers. I just like the way it looks, doesn't matter if the revolver is blue stainless steel Chrome or black, the white looks great.
Brandon Gravely | Screw was to short | Center screw was to short for the grips. They won't stay on the gun.
Brandt faust | Nice better than pictures | Good product replaced plain plastic grips
Brian F. | Requires fitting | Nice piece but it requires fitting. No surprise there, it’s going to require fitting to your hand anyway. Downside is that there are a few thin spots to watch out for.
brian s sutphin | Perfect fit | Perfect fit on my M66
Brian Stone | What a difference ! | Way better than the old worn ones. Feels like a new gun now.
Caleb Johnson | Kinda terrible | Looks okay, so long as you don't need to shoot it. The badges fell out after a half a box. Fit and finish are awful. Pitted all over and doesn't line up correctly. Just buy OEM magna grips for the same price. These aren't worth it.
California | Sweet | Great grips good quality
Carlos Dominguez | Good poroduct | Just what I was looking for, fits well without adjustments. Good product.
cartwright74 | Five Stars | Fit perfect and looks great!
Charles B. Lemak | Great fit | They look beautiful. They almost fit perfectly but were a little tight in some areas, so I used some sandpaper on some of the rounded wood, and the grips fit perfectly now. | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71DXbZ+PyrL._SL1600_.jpg |
Charles C Lee | They are a very nice design for Smith and Wesson | I love these grips for my Smith and Wesson<br>Model 19<br>Model 617<br>Very nice design
Charlie | Excellent quality and finish | Fits my square butt S & W K Frame perfectly. Excellent quality and finish.Took about 2 -3 weeks to get as the product is manufactured in Taiwan.
Checkerboard Square | Slightly oversized | Good quality grip.. similar to new... slightly larger/oversized than factory... would have preferred standard size... still good quality piece.
Chelsea Kreiger | Poor quality mfg. | Holes would not line up for proper fit.
Christian Tillman | Glad i ordered them looks great | Perfect fit for Smith and wesson 686
Christopher Parker | Good fit | Well made, comfortable fit, very attractive.
Chroni the Barbarian | Outstanding! | Absolutely great product, fast shipping, good communication - will buy again!
Conor | Not a good fit on the model 15 | The grips are a solid fit for the lower half of the smith and Wesson model 15. My problem was once I began to tighten them up the top half was still loose. I proceeded to twist the screw a little farther and without much resistance at all the wood grip cracked just under the trigger guard. I probably have two doesn’t sets of wood revolver grips and have never had this happen. To me this is a sign of terrible quality and wouldn’t recommend anyone pays more than 20 for a set of grips by this seller.
Conrad Hudson | Fit and finish are very good. | The fit is 99.9% perfect. Great color and finish very good job. Very pleased.
Crusty | Fit is perfect. | Looks great on a vintage K frame revolver.
curtis r hughes | Fit pistol | Looks good
D. Friedly | Perfect Fit | These resemble the old Plain Clothes Magna grips, seem to be made of Oak, at least they smell like it. They are a little thinner than the later PC Magnas, perfect if you use a "pinky-under" grip with your classic Smiths. Very slight amount of fitting required, they are perfectly dimensioned, checkering is clean and well done. These go very well with a classic grip adapter like a Tyler.
Dandy Tomczyk | Great all the way around | These proved to be an excellent fit on my S&W 586-8 with very little gap and a very nice color to them. They fit my hand extremely well (small to medium) and had a very good overall feel and grip level. The grip was better IMO than what was supplied from S&W and was cross in size from the original provided and a classic target grip. They worked well with HKS speed loaders and shell extraction was good. They don’t have that dense feel of old wood grips or some of that beautiful deep color but they are very good overall.
Dandy Tomczyk | Very good option for S&W 15-2 | Had a 15-2 with original wood stocks that while cool and original weren’t the best comfort/ grip wise and I noticed it shooting it side by side with other smiths with target or combat stocks. So went with these and I must say I very pleased for the money. Very good looking stocks with nice wood grain and a very pretty blonde walnut color. Seem slightly smaller than a traditional target stock and I found them very comfortable in the hand, much better/ solid grip than the originals. I would give the fit a 9, depending on how picky you are. Overall fit is good and screw down is tight. Fitment around the gun is good with the only small complaint as the seam down the back is not quite as invisible as I’d like. It’s seems more than acceptable for an aftermarket stock for range use.
Dandy Tomczyk | Didn’t fit but nice grips | I was disappointed that the right side grip would not match up correctly to the pin / frame curve of my S&W 585-8. The grips themselves were very nice in quality as was the feel, and the left side matched up just fine. The color did have a bit more red in it than I preferred and it’s possible that they could have been “made†to work but with the color having too much red and not a factory fit / match, they are going to be a return. Also possible that I got a bad set with a misaligned pin hole drilled into the right side grip.
darrell | Great workmanship | It fit great
David | Very nice | That’s my .357 perfectly
david | Five Stars | a+++++
DAVID ENO | Five Stars | fit great look good.
David Harris | Good fit. | Close to original. Good fit.
David L Peters | Five Stars | nice fit and finish. Fast shipping Thanks
Denis Cloud | They looked good, and they fit | I replaced an old set of grips, and they looked great.
Dennis F. | ðŸ‘Awesome | My model S&W model 15. Really like the color of these grips
detective513 | Great fit just as described | Product came faster than expected although there was a hiccup with post office which was not the sellers fault nice fit looks great my 357 never looked better
Donald king | Looks good | Exclent remakes didnt quite line up in the back but still good.
EB in Ca | Great grips fir K/L frame Smiths! | I have several sets of the finger groove grips on K frame S&W revolvers. I really like the look of wooden grips, but most factory wooden grip panels feel miserable in my hands. These cover the backstrap and fill in the gap at the front of the grip frame, yet they’re not so large my hands won’t grip it well. The S&W logo medallions are a nice touch.
Efton | Excellent design | These grips are awesome. They have transformed my 30 year old gun to a new level. Feels like the weapon is part of my hand. The quality is very good, only required some small fitting. Very happy with these grips.
Fedleoret | cheap grip screws! | Fits my late 1940s S&W Model 10, problem is the screws are made of brass or other soft metal! Afraid of taking off the grips and ruining the screw heads. The middle screw does not even reach the right part of the grip, hence it does not tighten. I feel that its unsafe to shoot the gun with this grip, that might come loose, specially with heavy loads! Hope fully the seller can supply me with better screws, and one long enough to use as the middle screw.
Frank I. | ... than I expected & the finish could have been better | Smaller than I expected & the finish could have been better
franz zmuda | Great replacement for original parts | I restore guns. This replaced a very worn, model 64, J frame revolver that was in service in 1960's, and kept in a make up bag in a closet in San Francisco for over 40 years. It brought back the original beauty of the gun, after being abused for so long.
g. madden | Beautiful product | Great design and wry well bushed grips.
Gary Vanlith | Good quality. | Perfect fit
gc2yfb | Good Design for Right Handed Shooter | Dexterity not shown or mentioned in ad.
Georgia Stiedemann | Awesome grips | The grips were as described. I received the grips on time. The fit was very good, nice and tight with no gaps. I have a S&W 357 magnum 686-6, these grips completely changed the look and feel for the better. Awesome product at an awesome price!
Gerard Robinson | Satisfied! | A-plus! Product came as described, service was excellent!
Gmax72 | Won't fit easily... | Fine materials and design. However, fitment was poorly executed.
GTH | Not good. | Fit and finish sub standard. Asked for refund.
gunnar persson | Five Stars | Perfect
Gwendolyn Marks | Won't work with speed loaders. | Didn't fit perfectly but close. Slight gap between halves.
Hal B. | great fit | Great fit, and great look. Feels good in hand. Can't wait to shoot
Hamm | Outstanding Quality & Value | These grips are outstanding, well made, and beautiful finish. The fit the revolver perfectly, and having a fairly large hand, they feel great. The quality is equal to, if not better, than S&W factory target grips. I plan to order another set. Very impressed.
Happy Customer | Arrived on time | Fit very well , both the side arm and my hand . Would buy again
Ian Batz | Great fit ( with a little effort) | I purchased these as a replacement for the large factory wooden grips that came with my model 15. These grips are about 30% smaller in diameter, making them much more comfortable in my hand. And, they look beautiful. They almost fit perfectly but were a little tight in some areas, so I used some sandpaper on some of the rounded wood, and applied a small drill bit to the holes at the bottom. For this I used a pair of vice grips and gently turned the bit by hand as I only wanted to remove enough material to make it fit easily, but not too loosely. It may sound like a lot of work, but it took me less than 5 minutes to complete, and the grips fit perfectly now. | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/710yOl7SkbL._SL1600_.jpg |
J | Great fit | Very good looking on my gun
J. Hakala | Works great. | Beautiful grips. They give my S&W model 10 that old-school look. A little too thin for my medium sized hands, but only just a little.

J.E. | not ground for speed loaders | quality good but unable to clear for speed loaders
J_H_A-30817 | Exact copy of the original hand grips | I know where to purchase additional hand made Revolver Grips
Jacky Franklin | great service | made an old gun look new
Jake Criscimagna | AWESOME | Beautifully crafted, handsome & look awesome on the pistol!! Order with confidence......
James | Nice grips | I had to do a little fitting with the wood on the back side to match up to the frame but just me on being a perfectionist. I would buy these again, well worth the money!
James E. | look great | Perfect fit on my Model 19.
James R. Martin | good products | Great price and well made.
Jan / Ken | S&W Model 19 Perfect Fit | Fits my S&W model 19 perfectly and looks great.
Jeff P | EXTREMELY Impressed! | I was skeptical because of the low price & reviews but decided to gamble & order a set.<br>They arrived sooner than expected and the quality, fit & finish is superb!<br>At first glance they closely resemble the factory grips but I really like "the diamond pattern" around the screw.<br>I also prefer the squared off edges that are more rounded on the factory grips.<br>Overall in my opinion, these are far superior to the factory grips.<br>The photo makes the color appear lighter than they actually are. They are dark walnut as they should be. Again, much better looking in person than the photo.<br>I put them on a Model 19 (K frame).<br>After seeing them I'm ordering another set for an old Model 10 that needs a face-lift.<br>Can't beat the price either.

Jeff Woodruff | grips | They do not fit with out filing and sanding.
Jeffrey Lewandowski | Poor quality repro | Just looked bad, poor quality
JeffreyS | Timesaver! Much better than starting out with a block of walnut! | Needed a little fine fitting to the frame, but very nice and superior to starting out with a block of walnut. The grip screws are brass; I wish they were steel.
Jerry Atkins | These are not mass produced. Each is different. | I bought two for a display I am making of two model 66's. One was gloss and the other satin finished. Ordered a another hoping to make a match. A different color. Oh well. They feel good in the hand and there may be some minor fitting to be done to get a good seam. For the money , they are ok. The best I have found.

Jim Mashburn | Good fit. Nice quality. | Nice brass hardware. Perfect fit on K frame square butt S&W. Finish is dull but nicely stained. I put two coats of polyurethane on the halves before installing for a beautiful setup.
Jimbinga | GREAT ERGONOMIC GRIPS | The s.&w Model 19 w 2 inch barrel standard grips were way too small for a .357. These grip are beautiful, feel great control now. I could not be more pleased.

Joan | Ksw10## New Smith & Wesson K/L S&W K L Frame Square Butt Revolver Grips | Well pleased with grip. My hands are small and the grip is a good fit.
Jocelyn Hernandez | Five Stars | Is beautiful
joe | Good fit | Good, tight fit. Color is close to the pictured color. The engraving on the horse looks a little off though. But the grips fit tight on the gun and i am happy with them.
Joe Doaks | They work | Decent grips and they work. No cracks, chips, fault lines or weak spots, and the finish is nice and even. No play or wobble at all, but not a perfect fit, small gap along the back, but not enough to worry about. They aren't Ahrends grips, but nothing else is. 4-1/2 stars.
joel fishkin | Very nice! | Very nice! Ordering another set soon!
John | Great fit and finish | The best grip replacement I have ever seen. Fit was excellent with no fitting necessary. I highly recommend.

John Goodnow | Waaay too wide | These grips fit the gun perfectly and are beautiful, but they were designed for the hands of a giant. They are about 2-2.5x wider than any other S&W model 10 grip I have ever felt, so they will go in a project drawer until the day I meet a 9ft dude with hands that can fit these
John Heinze | Gun Grips | Quality & appearance of the grips. They completely changed the look of the gun. I'm very pleased.

Jose urzua | Fits like a Glove | I have a S&W 686 plus 6 inch barrel. It fit perfectly, the aesthetic feel it gives is gorgeous, and it feels awesome. I was skeptical as to why one half of the grips was flatter then the other side. Yet! It the ingenuity that I was thinking about. When you wrap both hands on it, it makes it feel whole. The grooves for the fingers are well placed, the etched grip in the side is nice aswell. Overall amazing product!!!

Joseph | 1 star fit... | 5 stars for everything EXCEPT fit.. I give that a 1 star rating.
Joseph Hanson | Excellent grips | These grips feel great and made my S&W 19-3 look and feel even better. I had to do some minor sanding in a couple spots to get the grips to mate up in one spot along the back of the frame.
Joseph V. | Not bad grips | I bought them for my 686 4 inch and they do fit perfectly but however they are a little darker than the picture shows but still look decent the smith&Wesson logo on them were blacked out for some reason but with some elbow grease they do clean up overall they aren't perfect but considering how much wood grips are with the smith logo they aren't bad and the other thing I probably don't like the most is it does cover up some of the engraving on the gun itself that says smith & Wesson I guess it all boils down to if you got it and wanna spend a good bit more than you can get perfect grips but for $74 bucks it's not bad it's definitely better than the rubber ones my gun had
Kalei | Looked good not well made.. The one i got anyway!. | The one I received did not fit the S&W GOVERNOR once screwed in, there was very noticeable gap all the way around the 2 part grip. Had to return.. Looked greattho
Ken461 | Poor Quality and Workmanship | Bought to replace factory grips on immaculate 50 yr old S&W revolver. Fit was tight. Finish and workmanship on the grips was not high quality (see pics). I am returning for refund. | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81dqYFGSv-L._SL1600_.jpg,https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81zjOyHtIML._SL1600_.jpg,https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/918zsuBE6fL._SL1600_.jpg |
Kent Horton | I will order more grips in the future. | These grips are nearly a perfect fit and are absolutely beautiful. The wood is attractively figured and smells wonderful, too. I ordered these on 01/02/2019 and received them on 01/29/2019, well before the promised date of 02/14/2019. | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71Ht2c0brWL._SL1600_.jpg,https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81x5RoEtX4L._SL1600_.jpg |
Keokukone | Beautiful grips! | These are incredibly well made, beautiful grips that fit my 586 S&W revolver perfectly. Great value as well. Try a pair, but be sure of your frame size for a perfect fit.
Kimberely Castellano | Grip is better than picture shows | Fit just right. Color is not the same as picture (better). Love the look. | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71E7WZJBxwL._SL1600_.jpg |
Kindle Customer | Great grips, they need some final fitting and sanding. | These grips are very comfortable and fit my hand better than the original S & W grips. They did need some additional sanding to get a perfect. I also sanded and refinished the grips with Tung Oil. The Tung Oil brought out the wood grain. I have not had a problem using speed loaders, comp. III, when shooting.
Kurt R Bloedel | Five Stars | Bullseye
kyle | very good set of grips | I redid my grandpa's Smith and Wesson model 10-8 that I inherited and these grips gave it the total new and custom look also fits my hand better being bigger then the stock grips that came on the gun
Larry Hines | fit | nice fitting , looks great
Lee Fleming | Great fit! | Well priced and quality.
Lefty from Alabama | Good looking grips to replace worn out set! | Good looking grips. Fit right and made the gun look 100% better. Will buy again as needed.
Lena Ullrich | Great for a display piece | These look very nice, but they lack true function and durability. I'm not sure what the wood is, but it is not like any hardwood I ever saw. One of the grips have chipped near the top already. Additionally, the design of the left grip panel does not allow for easy ejection of spent casings or the use of a speedloader. If these were installed on a revolver which was strictly intended for display, then they would be fantastic. They look so nice, I am more than a little disappointed they aren't functionally better or more durable.
Levi D | It's decent. Nothing to write home about | Fits my 686+ well, the color is more orange than brown but it feels good plinging a 357
Liberty Blacksmith | Not for S & W model 19 | Not as advertised, have no idea what this fits. They seem to have sent a random set of<br>grips, not even close to what it was supposed to be.
Lillian Walsh | Won't work with speed loaders. | Didn't fit perfectly but close. Slight gap between halves.
Lisa Little | Recommended | Great product, close to original.
Luis S. | It's a good item | Its a perfect fit
Lynn Nymeyer | Perfect for me! | Perfect fit on model 19, easy instal and provides a new and classy look for the old shooter. I'm happy!
mamrev | Great for large hands | Great for large hands. Good target grips.
Marc R. | beautiful hand crafted wood grips by Smith and Wesson | the grips are absolutely beautiful, they look better than the picture and they fit beautifully. thank you | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71KiroUxGDL._SL1600_.jpg |
Marcus Considine | Wonderful grips | Second set of these Both for my k frame smith and Wesson model 10-6 and a 10-5 square butt fit perfect and look great | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71jl5y84UHL._SL1600_.jpg |
Mark | be careful | didn't fit
Mark L. | not an exact replacement | these grips cover up the metal backstrap (completely encases the back strap)
Mat | Finish quality was more like an unfinished grip | Finish quality was more like an unfinished grip...several coats of Tur-Oil and they look great, fit my 686-3 very well.
Matt D | Beauties! | Excellent craftsmanship, fits my Model13 357 S&W perfectly, handle pins fit these wood grips snuggly, fits on frame just great, hold together firmly even without the screw, was pleasantly surprised. Nice work
Melissa L. | great company great product. perfect fit on my model 66 smith.pistol. | i love these pistol grips. perfect fit too.
MiataZoom | Great grips! | Very impressed . . . perfect fit and finish. Looks great on a blue Model 10.
Mickey | Good, but Could Be Better | These are excellent for right hand shooters doing formal work over prescribed bulls eye courses.<br>Naturally they are not for action shooting. There is a flowing indentation for the trigger finger<br>for right handed shooters and a thumb rest on the left side of the grips. These would be useable<br>by left handed shooters IF the thumb rest was eliminated and a flowing indentation for the left<br>hand trigger finger was provided. As they are, no use can be made of them by left handers. The<br>trigger finger indentations should be less deep on both sides somewhat like the grips on the rimfire<br>Smith & Wesson model 41. This fits the web of the hand better, either left or right. If grips like this<br>that restrict the hand position are truly fitted for the man, there is nothing better, but generic<br>grips rarely fit a buyer of opportunity on a website. Dual use grips allow the man with a hand larger<br>or smaller, to better use the product, regardless of his left right preference. Otherwise, good<br>stuff here, IF you are right handed and IF you have the correct size hand to fit these grips.
mike hammer | this grip is great. It's almost identical to the new hogue rubber ... | If you have medium hands (like mine),this grip is great. It's almost identical to the new hogue rubber grips that come on the L frame models (but those are for round butt). And you can't find those hogue grips for (old) square grip models. And wood is smoother than rubber...
Mike in Florida | Great. Fit and Finish perfect | Very nice wood grips. Fit and finish of the wood grips is perfect. Very nice find.
Milo | Great Grips! | Great product. Fit perfectly and looks nice.

Mr. Toni Kilback | Didn't fit. | Too small
Nancy C | Good thing I was using these on a "copy" revolver ... | The grips don't even match side to side. There is a 1/6" difference on the fit from one side to the other.... Good thing I was using these on a "copy" revolver and knew I would need to rework them.... As far as I'm concerned their junk BUT I can make them work for my purpose. r mileage may vary...
Neil McAnally | Almost. | I purchased a pair of Smith & Wesson K frame grips for a model 15-7. Recieved them in a timely fashion, but, frankly, was disappointed. The finish is very poor, could have used some more prep prior to applying the finish. They fit the pistol well enought, but will require additional sanding on the grips bottom so as to provide a smoother mating surface. And at least another coat of finish, probably serval more. The grips exhibit some nonconformances in the grip's checkering.<br>I've never purchased a set of grips from this company before, and with the grip's cost, coupled with the lack of quality, I'll not do so again.<br>My recommendation: Pass
new2hometheater | Great wood, good fit | Great wood, good fit. Cheap zinc cast silver logo inserts. Real Smith and Wesson logo's are brass. I salvaged the brass logo's from my original grips but still not happy
Nick Rohan | Fitment | Perfect fit
nuke | does what I needed | Fit between the round bit (where the factory wood grips fit) and the bottom pin was... snug enough that I probably crushed the pin into the wood rather than into the drilled hole; fit the rest of the way around frame bottom had a large gap. Final fit is tight enough.<br><br>Minor re-shaping was necessary to clear the target hammer spur far enough to go single-action.
Otto Robinson | Five Stars | Great product..fits perfectly
Patricia A. Katz | Enjoyable shopping experience at a fair price. Next day delivery. | The fit was perfect. The color of the grips was exactly the same as the picture. They arrived on the next day after ordering . Very satisfied with the entire experience. They were used on a Smith and Wesson 686 plus.
Patrick | Do not recommend. | First the good news: they’re an improvement over the beat-up original grips.<br>Now the bad news: they’re not a match for the original grips. Form and fit are all different. When mounted, they don’t fit the frame flush or uniformly, and there’s a gap between the top of the grip and the frame. These grips are both wider and flatter than the original grips, and don’t have the same feel. The most disappointing for me was the poor craftsmanship in the diamond-cut woodwork. The borders around the diamond-cut are very wavy and amateurish. And it took over a month and a half to get them. Very disappointed, considering the price. Definitely would NOT recommend them. I only give them one star because I can’t give them zero.
Paul Ceasare | nice grips | these are great grips, they just did not fit my gun.
pete abrahams | Not hand made | Fits but not the best, does not look hand made, has poor router lines that dont line up and sharp edges. Will most likely sand down to smooth out and refinish.
R. Friscia | Too Big | Way to big and cumbersome wow.
randall baker | not brown | ad stated they are brown......more like a dark orange...will try to re stain them myself.real tight fit....need to be fitted just a little.
Retta | Handsome grips | Gift
Ricky | Perfectly acceptable. | I would say the fit on the pair that I ordered was about 90%, and the finish was acceptable. While they aren’t factory fit/finish, I think they are a good compromise for someone looking to dress up a, perhaps less than pristine, K frame. For the price versus quality, I am satisfied with the pair that I received.
Robert | Nice but... | Nice item. Didn’t fit. Little rough as if time wasn’t taken to smooth out the finish before the laquer was put on. Overall nice pattern but also slippery. Be great more for presentation than functionality.
Robert Pierotti | Quality | Product is crap....it did NOT fit whatsoever. I have not even got my money back yet after sending it back almost a month ago. What the hell??????
Robert R. Hawthorne | Very nice grips | Nice workmanship. The grips did require a little fitting to get them to work with my Model 19 k frame.
rod h. | Love it | Great on a k frame smith
Ronald Myers | Look great | I just had an old revolver re-blued but it had old and worn grips. I ordered these new grips and the look great.

Ronald R. | Five Stars | Excellent fit and finish
Ronald S. Davis | Sorry | Don’t waste your money
Rosie Kohler | Too small, doesn’t quite fit and cracked around trigger area immediately when tried on | Looks like machine milled product, but it doesn’t fit quite well. Trigger area was to small, wood cracked when I tried on the revolver. Requested to send another set, we’ll see if I had an unlucky one or it’s the quality in general.
ryannkc | Ehhh... Ymmv | Although the fitment was decent the overall fit and finish I consider of Chinese quality. I hate the plastic chrome plated s&w logo. Had to go back. Overall not bad on a contemporary range gun but my model 10 is a long member of my family

Samuel L. Lucio | very nice | I bought these for an combat masterpiece. they fit perfectly and look awesome.
Scott M. Ward | They would have been great except...😠| I REALLY wanted these to work. I'm still giving them 2 stars just because they look so amazing on a 50 year old revolver! Unfortunately, I have to join the other people who have reviewed this product, and not been satisfied. The grips did not fit correctly on my Smith & Wesson 19-3, K-Frame .357 Magnum. The countersunk screw which holds the two halves of the grip to the revolver frame was too short, and would not fasten the grip halves onto the frame at all. Also, the frame of the revolver stuck out about a millimeter all the way around the grip. But they look fantastic! They would have worked for me if that screw had been long enough, but no such luck. Manufacturer...please fix these issues!
Sean | Wonderful grips | Second set of these Both for my k frame smith and Wesson model 10-6 and a 10-5 square butt fit perfect and look great
Seattle Steve | very nice grips | Great fit, quality place to do business
Shysue | Fit | The grips did not fit the revolver
sigp226 | they feel cheap | The fit is fine but they are totally unfinished and feel real dry. Small chip that was barely noticeable but ok. Not the quality I expected for the price.
sinloi | ... the last pair I bought from them they fit great however I did have to darken them a | The same as the last pair I bought from them they fit great however I did have to darken them a bit
SLL1965 | Beautiful Craftsmanship | I just received this wood replacement grips for my S&W 686. The fit is perfect, it really makes this weapon stand out. I had the rubberized grips before and was never satisfied. I am very glad I selected these grips. They are very well made, they fit perfectly, no groves or lines.
Spuz74 | Standard Speed Loader will not work w/ these | These grips are very comfortable in the hand. The fitment is great. Only complaint is they do not have a releif cutout for the use of a speed loader.

Steve B. | Looks like S&W made them! | Fit is excellent. Very snug, with no wobble or excessive gaps. And they look just like S&W's factory N-frame target grips for the Model 29, except for the K-frame. Exactly what I wanted.
Suzanne Contessa | Good as factory, fit perfectly. | Good as factory, fit perfectly.
Terry Delory | awesome thank you so much | Made my 4" 686 look like brand new again! Thank you very much, if I could shake your hand I most definitely would! !!!!!
Thomas H. Lappert | Four Stars | Good fit, the color is a little darker than I thought they would be.
tim | Sexy! | This grip is gorgeous. It took a little bit of finagling to get it on, but after I did, it looks and feels sexy as hell. I would add a picture, but amazing frowns on pictures of firearms. I put it on a smith and Wesson 586. Beautiful!
Tim Grayem | Five Stars | Very nice.
tim lambert | Five Stars | Very nice. Perfect fit
Timmerz | Perfect fit | PERFECT fit on my old k-frame
Timmy Wehner | Not a great fit | Looked cheap, fit was not very good. not factory S&W grips
tOñO mOrenO | Fit Perfect | perfect fit for my 586. made of good quality. i have some fairly big hands but im able to maintain a good grip. id say its worth the buy
Tom | Fantastic Fit, Color, logo | S&W model 686 square but fitment. Fantastic!Color of wood, checkering, S&W logo, finish. Fantastic!I’ve been a shooter since the ‘70’s. I got his 686 on a whim. It had rubber grips, but otherwise was in great shape.I clicked these grips on a whim, just to see if they were close to the Goncalo Alves (coke bottle) grips of the old.Holy smokes, these are better.I am really happy!Tom in Oregon.... writer for The Truth About Guns
Tony V | Awesome grips, perfect fit, look and feel. | The grips arrived on time and very well packaged. They fit perfectly, feel as good or better than original S&W target grips and look amazing. They really cleaned up and transformed the feel and pointing of my 55 year old model 10. They also received a number of compliments the first time out at the range with two folks asking where I got them and how much.
Tracey Ziemann | Not a great fit | Looked cheap, fit was not very good. not factory S&W grips
Travis | Five Stars | Absolutely wonderful!!! They look great and feel perfect. Came looking exactly like what the picture shows! Well worth it.
Travis | Beautiful!! | Beautiful!!! Fit perfect, Feel Perfect!!! Get em lol. Mine came a brighter color of red, but dang they look nice!!!
TWB | Looks great | Perfect fit on Smith & Wesson model 686
victor | Needs fit and finish | Product looks very nice clean polish and shiny. This product is for a square butt k frame not the rounded butt k frame. Description said it would fit my model the 686 plus, and it technically did but the edges needed to be sanded down to properly fit. They are big in the hand but I do have smaller baby hands so yeah. Overall not a bad product looks nice but be aware will need finishing. Good for the price but I think I'll go eagles grips next time.
wayne jordan | Perfect. Would certainly buy | Perfect. Would certainly buy again
wifiwolfpack | Very nice | I bought these to replace the original wooden grips on a model 10 which had been worn down from years of use. These grips fit in the hand well, look great, and seem well-crafted. Some reviews have noted they don’t align well, but I didn’t encounter this problem when installing them.<br><br>fair warning however that they are built for right handed shooters; if you shoot left handed these aren’t the grips for you (I don’t know if the brand has an alternate listing for a left-handed variant of these grips).<br><br>Would I recommend? yes.
william sullivan | dont buy | First set didnt fit returned and go replacement. Now they are cracked.
Zachary Spencer | Great fit and finish! | Perfect fit and finish. Much better than the original grips! | https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71bs6zxdTKL._SL1600_.jpg |
